Sparkasse inaugurated its newest branch in Padova.
An appropriated space for a boutique bank, that with its unique position just a few steps away from Piazza dei Signori and a very generous glass facade highlights this very elegant bank concept.
This location used to be a small retail shop of a famous sportwear branch, located in a rationalistic building inserted in between very historical buildings, amongst which the Church of Santa Lucia and the School of San Rocco.
BUILT managed the whole construction process from layouting to architectural and MEP design to work-site management.
The concept was applied so that at street level there are the most frequented areas such as self area, welcoming desk, light consultancy and cashier desk, while upstairs find place the enclosed rooms for consultancy needing privacy and a generous back-office.
In order to realise this new layout, we envisioned a structural intervention in correspondance of the stairs connecting the three floors, with the insertion of a bearing frame to substitute the old structural wall, allowing to place the cashier desk and giving a new breath to the whole space.
